THE TRAILER
Creating the Season 1 trailer for "Ice Cold Case" was an exciting journey. It all began with brainstorming the trailer's concept, figuring out what makes our podcast unique, and how to capture the essence of our first season in a few short minutes. Once we had the concept in place, we scripted the trailer, making sure it contained the key elements: an engaging introduction, a clear presentation of what our podcast was all about, and an irresistible call to action for our potential listeners. Recording the voiceover was a pivotal moment.
We needed it to be engaging, matching the tone of our podcast and making sure it conveyed the excitement and intrigue that our stories held. After recording, we got into the audio editing phase, where we added the background music and sound effects to create a dynamic atmosphere, making the trailer as captivating as possible. Our team then reviewed the initial version of the trailer.
We also had a marketing plan in place to reach a broader audience. Engagement was a vital part of the process. We responded to comments, questions, and built anticipation for Season 1. The trailer became a prelude to the main event. And finally, the launch of the trailer marked the countdown to Season 1's debut. It generated excitement and encouraged listeners to subscribe and get ready for the thrilling stories that awaited them.
THE BILLBOARDS
In the town where the murder occurred, we used billboards featuring a compelling image of the victim and daughter along with our podcast's tagline and release information. We wanted to be impactful. Our marketing approach involved engaging with the local community through partnerships with organizations, collaboration with local media, active social media presence, and participation in community events.
